The plummy fruit is moderately spicy and surprisingly well mannered, finishing in a lithe, languid aftertaste. It is ready to drink now but will definitely hold well for five years to come, by which time I expect it'll be an absolute dream. Buy the Wallace when you are feeling mellow and you need a wine to match your mood.
