Colour: Brick-red, light purple hues Nose: Big dark chocolate, mixed with very ripe black fruits. A touch of lovely old leather, and some anise. Taste: Gentle and soft. Has some delicious dark fruit on the palate with hints of liquorice. Has good grip and a lingering finish. Vanillin sweet oak is perhaps still dominant. Still very youthful for a four-year-old and could do with a little longer in the cellar.
