Anaperenna 07: Jeremy Oliver

A wine with richness, length and balance. Scented with fresh, floral, confiture-like aromas of small black and blue berries, cedar/vanilla oak and leafy cabernet undertones, it's long, smooth and seamless, with a heady mix of genuinely ripe and slightly over-ripe flavour. Underpinned by smooth, supple tannins and carefully metered cedar/mocha oak, it's exceptionally approachable and ready to drink, if perhaps a shade confectionery for a higher rating.
