Bishop 07: Full bodied and hugely textured

A rich, luscious and concentrated cellar dweller, it oozes sweet dark fruit and firm tannin. Spice box, floral notes and deep rich dark fruit on the nose, it gushes over the palate in a tsunami wave of flavour - kirsch liquer, dark black plum and mulberry. It's a behemoth of red wine, full-bodied and hugely textured with a finish that just doesn't quit.  Drink 2012 to 2018 alongside a rich stew.
