Anaperenna wins Decanter Trophy: Best Australian Red Blend over 10 Pounds

Glaetzer Anaperenna 2006 has been awarded the Trophy for Best Australian Red Blend over 10 Pounds at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2008.

The judges comments: A Juicy yet subtle red with a ripe fruit aroma that is brisk and sweet, coupled with the warm and satisfying length of fine cassis fruit and gentle tannin.

This year the judges were as rigorous as ever. In total, 9219 wines were entered. Only 64% of wines were awarded a medal, and of those just 2.84% won gold or a trophy.
