With stunning fruit from Barossa's Ebenezer district, and Ben Glaetzer now chief winemaker after his father Colin, the Bishop is in its glory here, fresh and vibrant with bright crimson berry notes and a lacing of red licorice in the aromatics. The most exciting thing is the lack of obvious intervention from oak or the winemaker's hand - it's pure and fresh and drinking wonderfully.
